Frumkvodull.com was launched in April 2007 in relation to the start of the course for entrepreneurs.

Originator of both course and the website is Birgir Grímsson.

The webpage primary aim is provide information about the courses provited by autor. An added funktion is to increase networking related to the course as well provite extended volume of knowledge and info about entrepreneurs, new ventures, benefits and funds, help and institutions, to name a few, and to address the need for such a webpage in Icelandic as well as foreign societies today.

Everyone who attends the course will be able to get information and data about entrepreneurship in addition to strengthening their network between each other and through this build a better base for increased results and profit in they're own area. The fact of the matter is that there are two main things that support the entrepreneur; information and networking.

Birgir has MA in Industrial Design from Lunds University in Sweden (2005) and has MA in Entrepreneurship from the Malmö University in Sweden (2007). The exam project in Entrepreneurship is one of this courses presented on this webpage as well as the webpage itself.

Birgirs background and experience inculdes numerus things . This is the foundation for the vision he communicates in these courses.

2007 - Finishes his studies in Entrepreneurship from Malmö University.

2007 – Hired to take care of new venture and product development within BM Vallá in Iceland.

2006 – Sold to Shell the idea for “Summer-family/children game of Shell and Lazy-Town”.

2006 – Founded the design company Biggest Design, working in designing the interior of homes and companies in Reykjavík, practiced counseling.

2005 – Founded with two of his friends the wholesale company RG Living (www.rgfishing.se, www.fiestabbq.se) and the Carpentry company www.altan.nu in Gothenburg, Sweden.

2005 – Graduated with MA in Industrial Design from Lundi University in Sweden and his MA project was in co-operation with one of the biggest Sports Utility Transportation company in the world, THULE OF SWEDEN.

2004 – Made decision regarding moving forward with the business plan (mention below).

2004 – Worked on a project in co-operation with NASA, Houston, Texas – USA in relation to planned human space mission to the Moon in 2018 and Mars in 2022. The project related to the environment of the astronauts in the space shuttle on the trip to Mars, but that takes about 3 years back and forth.

2004 – An idea chosen to be published in a book for Swedish aluminum producers amongst other interesting ideas with products made of aluminum.

2004 – Participated in www.venturecup.org in Sweden (South) with a business plan. The plan got a very good review but didn´t win a prize J.

2004 – Participated in Eurowards in Brussels, Belgium (Competition on Business Plans in Europe). Made contact with many interesting entrepreneurs and investors.

2003 – Participated in a competition in business plans held on behalf of New Venture fund, Íslandsbanki, Morgunblađiđ, University of Reykjavik and others and came in 4^th place and was elected to participate in www.eurowards.com.

2003 – Got support from “Viđskiptafrćđistofnun University of Iceland” to make a business plan for a business idea.

2002 – Got financial aid from www.impra.is to make a business plan around a business idea.

2001 – Finished studies in tutoring creative studies at the Design Seminariet in Hojer. Connected the studies to Industrial Design.

2000 – Business idea is born while taking an entrance exam at the Architect School in Ĺrhus.
